ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A few passing lake flakes this morning near Wayne County will move out quickly, followed by partly cloudy skies becoming cloudy for the afternoon. Although this morning is colder on the thermometer than yesterday, it is not nearly as windy so it feels much more tolerable. Winds will remain calm throughout today, with highs in the mid 30s.
Tomorrow a slight chance of snow showers in the morning becoming rain showers in the afternoon as highs reach the low 40s.
First day of astronomical spring is on Friday, when we will again reach the 40s with a clipper bringing in rainy conditions. Saturday and Sunday may both feature rain showers with highs in the upper and lower 40s respectively. Monday and Tuesday will be drier but colder. Overall our temperature trend remains at or slightly below average over the next 6 to 14 days.
Stay tuned for updates on the forecast.
