Mrs. T's is changing the game with its new pierogi line.
Addressing consumers' calls for more convienent snack options, the cult-favorite brand of frozen pierogi has reimagined its iconic potato-filled dumplings as something that can now be eaten in between meals (instead of as one), introducing, Mrs. T's Snack Pierogies.
"After successful limited distribution, we knew we had something special," Alyssa Panzarella, director of marketing at Mrs. T's Pierogies, shared in a statement on Tuesday. "Snack Pierogies are exactly what busy parents have been looking for — substantial enough to satisfy their teens and simple enough for them to prepare on their own. Now, we're excited to bring this flavorful, bite-sized solution to even more families across the country."

Mrs. T's Snack Pierogies are where "bold flavors" meet convienence, the company said in a March 17 press release, explaining the "golden, bite-sized pierogies" were made with air fryer preparation in mind.

The snack-sized pierogi are very similar to the frozen entrees fans know and love, but they're not just mini versions of the original. Mrs. T's said it actually crafted the new item with a "custom pasta blend" that's designed for quicker cook times.
According to Tuesday's official announcement, the new snack-sized pierogi cook in about eight minutes in an air fryer, which is about half the time than the traditional frozen pierogi entrees. And while the bite-sized potato dumplings were designed for the air fryer, they can also be cooked in a traditional oven.
The new line is available in four "crave-worthy" flavors: Cheddar Sour Cream & Onion, 5 Cheese, Cheddar Ranch Seasoned with Bacon, and Jalapeño Popper.

Where Will Mrs. T's Snack Pierogies Be Available?
All of Mrs. T's Snack Pierogies will be stocked in the freezer aisle in bags of about 50 pierogi at select grocery retailers nationwide and via Instacart for about $6.49 (prices may vary), according to the release.
Mrs. T's Jalapeño Popper Snack Pierogies, however, will only be available at Weis locations in the Harrisburg and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, markets this spring, with distribution expanding into new retailers in the late summer. Availability may vary by location.
