ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Yellow Alert continues Tuesday morning with some snow covered roads and slick travel. Gusty winds 40-50mph will cause blowing snow and feel like temps near 0. Local lake flakes will bring a dusting to an inch of new snow into the afternoon. Road conditions will improve into the afternoon as winds subside so Yellow Alert will expire after 9AM. More cold weather into tonight and tomorrow. Local lake snow may kick up a bit between Sodus and Oswego overnight into Wednesday morning where a few inches of snow are possible. Mostly cloudy Wednesday with light winds and temps into the 30s.
Tracking a few weak systems late week into the weekend. A few rain and snow showers possible Thursday and Friday with temps in the 30s and 40s. For now we have temps in the 40s through the weekend but we may see one of the days turn milder so stay tuned for updates on that. Colder weather returns early next week.
