Luke Combs may have made it big in the world of country music but he and his family still live in the same two bedroom home.
The "Beautiful Crazy" singer made an appearance on The Zach Sang Show on Monday (March 16) and opened up about his current living situation. During the episode, Combs shared that he and his wife Nicole, as well as their three young children, are currently living in a very small home.
"We're going to be three under four in a two-bedroom house for over a year, which will be trying times," Combs admitted, while explaining the exact details of the situation.
The musician revealed that his family's "dream home" is under construction and they decided to stay put while it's still being built.
"It's not like it's not a braggadocious thing of like, well, 'Look at me. I'm humble.' The illusion that like I'm not in the position I'm in is not something I'm trying to lay out on the masses. That's just the situation we're in," Combs shared.
Combs noted that while things may be a little cramped right now, they thankfully live on a "large piece of acreage" so there's "plenty of space" for everyone.
"It's not like we live in an apartment in a high-rise and we're stuck in there. I don't want to give the illusion that I'm trying to be this overly humble guy. That's not the idea. But that's just the a state a statement of fact that we live in the small house," Combs said.
He added that there's been upsides to living in close quarters too as it's created a lot of "bonding and unity" with his wife and children.
"It will teach them a lot of lessons that I don't know that they could learn living in a big house and the house we'll ultimately live in," he concluded.
