Margaret Cho has always been open about her weight struggles, and the beloved comedian is opening up about how GLP-1 medications have helped her.
Cho, 57, shared that she turned to weight loss drugs to deal with a condition called binge eating disorder.
"I have taken them. I think they're great. I think they're really amazing for curbing impulse eating," Cho told host Richard Taite, founder and executive chairman of Carrara Treatment Wellness & Spa and 1 Method Centers, in PEOPLE's exclusive preview of the new episode of his We’re Out of Time podcast. "I have a binge eating disorder. So, for me, it's actually been quite a lifesaver. I think that they are just perfect for any kind of impulse control, you know, that that we're sort of looking at … people really criticize it, but I love them. I'm really grateful for them."
When Cho took the stage last week to accept the Icon Award at the 14th annual Queerties at AVALON Hollywood in Los Angeles, California, the comedian looked more svelte than ever.
