John Goodman is thriving in his seventies, and his health is on point thanks to the fact that he dropped 200 pounds.

“I just got tired, sick and tired of looking at myself,” Goodman told ABC News in 2016. “You’re shaving in the mirror, and you don’t want to look at yourself. It gets dangerous.”
When it comes to his favorite methods of working out, Goodman told AARP that he enjoys “getting out and walking the dogs” and “boxing.”
“Nobody’s going to get hurt, but it’s just hitting the mitts and trying to learn,” Goodman said in 2023.
