    The 2026 Oscars are scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. PST/7:00 p.m. EST on Sunday, March 15. Red carpet coverage will begin at 1:00 p.m. PST/4:00 p.m. EST. The event is being held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.

    Only two of this year’s Oscar-nominated songs will be performed at the Oscars. The singing voices of the lead characters, KPop Demon Hunters, Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, will perform “Golden.” From Sinners, Miles Caton will sing ‘I Lied To You” alongside songwriter Raphael Saadiq, Buddy Guy, Bobby Rush, Shaboozey, Brittany Howard, Eric Gales, Alice Smith and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram. Ballet dancer Misty Copeland, and actresses Li Jun Li and Jayme Lawson will also be on stage performing during the song.

    Josh Groban and the Los Angeles Master Chorale are also slated to perform at the Oscars, possibly for the In Memorium segment.

This year’s ceremony is introducing a new category, Achievement in Casting. There will be a stunt performer Oscar in the future, but not until the 2028 ceremony.
