To achieve that goal, the couple partnered with Crate & Barrel Design Desk to decorate and furnish their freshly renovated apartment and ultimately turn it into a home.
"The neutral palette instantly feels tranquil — a visual exhale," Roberts Rassi explained in a statement shared with Parade. "There's hardly a print or a bright color in sight, and we're okay with that. Understated luxury wins every time.”

When it came to designing the living room, the family "needed a total multitasker — a 'does everything' space," Zanna Roberts Rassi explained.
"It’s our dining area, work zone, homework hub and hangout spot," the fashion journalist added. "The living room has to do a lot, and it’s small for the demands we put on it!"
One of Roberts Rassi's favorite pieces in the living room is Crate & Barrel's Triomphe Marble Square Side Table, which she chose because it "has that perfect balance between statement and subtlety. Just how we like everything!"

“We wanted layers of flattering lighting, cozy bedding, a quiet nook to read," Roberts Rassi said of designing her primary bedroom, which centers around the Milano Walnut Wood Upholstered King Bed with Nightstands.
“Hello, hotel chic! The Milano Bed instantly brings that boutique luxury vibe home. One piece and done," Roberts Rassi said. "The built-in nightstand cubbies and hidden charging make it as functional as it is elegant."

Juno and Rumi, both 11 years old, each had a say in designing their bedrooms. The two rooms feature plenty of fun pops of color and mix-and-match patterns, but all in somewhat muted tones, helping the rooms fit in with the home's neutral palette.
“We gave them total freedom — with our designer's guiding hand!" Roberts Rassi said. "Watching my daughters' confidence grow, their imaginations take off and their personalities shine — all while knowing they had support was pure joy."
