Fans were thrilled when former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman John Fogerty announced his 2026 Legacy Tour, scheduled to make stops in cities including Boston, Chicago, Atlantic City and other hot spots. Now classic rock lovers have something else to celebrate...some of those dates will feature another iconic musician on the bill.
Appearing on the same ticket with 80-year-old Fogerty for 13 shows this September will be singer, guitarist and keyboard player Steve Winwood, famed for his work with the bands Traffic and Blind Faith (in addition to his chart-topping solo career).
According to an official Instagram post from Fogerty, the dates featuring Fogerty and Winwood will kick off on September 3 in Tinley Park, Illinois. The legendary pair will visit a variety of East Coast locations, including Bethel, NY and Charlotte, NC before wrapping up in Hollywood, Florida on Sept. 20.

However, his last major tour was in 2018, and he hasn't released an album since 2008's Nine Lives, which was a top 20 hit in the U.S.
A BBC review of the album praised its "sleek production, laid-back grooves, deep-vein bass lines, sinuous percussion, and instantly singable tunes" (some of which just might feature in his upcoming concerts with Fogerty).
