Linebacker Devin Bush reportedly signs free agent deal with Bears

The Chicago Bears have made another defensive signing, reportedly inking linebacker Devin Bush to a contract.

According to reports, Bush and the Bears have agreed to a three-year deal worth up to $30 million, with $21 million of the contract guaranteed.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the deal, citing Bush’s agent Drew Rosenhaus.

Bush appeared in all 17 games for the Browns during the 2025 season, snagging three interceptions and returning two of them for touchdowns. He also registered 125 combined tackles, a career high, and had two sacks and seven tackles for loss.

In seven NFL seasons, Bush has five interceptions, four forced fumbles and 524 combined tackles.

Bush will fill a big need for the Bears after they cut Tremaine Edmunds, their leading tackler during the 2025 season.

The Bears have been busy on the defensive side of the ball Monday, reportedly agreeing to terms with Seattle Seahawks safety Coby Bryant and Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Neville Gallimore.
