The Official Charts Company shared the news on social media saying, “The #Gymskin hype is real, as Madonna's Into The Groove re-enters the Top 40 for the first time in 40 years thanks to the internet sensation!”
Gymskin is a 26-year-old England-born fitness influencer with a huge following. He recently posted a video of himself dancing to "Into the Groove," which the Official Charts Company believes helped the Madonna song return to the UK Top 40.

It was the single for Madonna’s film Desperately Seeking Susan with Rosanna Arquette and Aidan Quinn. Although Madonna had several chart-topping hits by 1985, “Into the Groove” gave the Queen of Pop her first number-one hit in the UK and Spain. In true Madonna fashion, she made sure to create an iconic video for the song, featuring moments from Desperately Seeking Susan.
