The 2026 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament gets underway from Kansas City, Missouri, on Tuesday, with ASU set to play in the first session.
The No. 12 seed Sun Devils (16-15, 7-10 Big 12) will face No. 13 seed Baylor on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. MST on ESPN+ from T-Mobile Center.
Arizona (29-2, 16-2 Big 12) clinched the regular-season title and top seed in the conference tournament with its win against Iowa State on Monday, which means the Wildcats will play their first game in the quarterfinals on Thursday at noon.
Arizona will play the final team left between No. 8 seed UCF, No. 9 seed Cincinnati and No. 16 seed Utah. Cincinnati and Utah will face off on Tuesday at noon for the right to face UCF on Wednesday at noon.
ASU lost its lone matchup with Baylor in the regular season, 73-68. The Sun Devils led by eight points at halftime before getting outscored by 13 in the second half on the road.
If ASU can get past Baylor, the Sun Devils would get another chance at revenge against Iowa State, who beat them by 21 points to close the regular season.
