Police evacuated residents of a condominium complex in a northwest suburb of Chicago Saturday night after one of the buildings’ floors partially collapsed.
Around 8:30 p.m., police responded to a condo building on the 5900 block of Lincoln Avenue in Morton Grove for a partial floor collapse.
Authorities shut down the block as crews evacuated the building and asked people to avoid the area.
Video of the scene showed a large emergency response on the block, with at least one ladder extended to the building from a fire truck. Residents could be seen being wheeled out of the building by authorities.
Police said no injuries had been reported as of 9:45 p.m.
As of 10 p.m., the scene remained active.
