A baby sleepsuit sold by major retailers including Target, Walmart and Amazon was recalled due to a choking hazard caused by the zipper, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced this week.
Roughly 45,000 HALO Magic Sleepsuits sold between September 2025 and February 2026 were recalled on March 5 by New York City-based Halo Dream, Inc.
The recall includes several colorways of the sleepsuits that were designed for babies between the ages of 3 and 6 months.
The zipper head can detach, posing a choking hazard to infants, according to USCPSD. The company has received reports of at least 15 zipper heads that have detached, though no injuries have been reported.
The recalled suits have batch codes PO30592, PO30641 and PO30685 and a sewn-n label inside the garment and the hang tag affixed to the outside of the suit will have “Made in India” printed on them, according to the recall.
The sleepsuits were sold on Halosleep.com, Amazon.com, Walmart.com and Target.com for about $50.
Anyone with the recalled product should stop using it immediately and register for the recall here. After registering, customers will receive a coupon code that can be applied toward a replacement sleepsuit or $50 in store credit.
