Los Angeles City Councilmember Adrin Nazarian led an event at the North Hollywood Metro Station, where construction of the Chandler Bicycle Connection links three miles of bike lanes to existing protected bicycle routes across the San Fernando Valley. The Chandler Bicycle Connection will close the three-mile gap between the Chandler Bike Path and the G (Orange) Line Bikeway, creating a 21-mile continuous protected bicycle route from Chatsworth to Burbank. “The Chandler corridor links so many neighborhoods across the San Fernando Valley and this project strengthens that connection,” said Nazarian. ”When we talk about first mile/last mile connectivity, what could be better than connecting directly to the North Hollywood Metro Station, and the Noho Arts District?”
