The campus broke ground in September 2025 at the East Metropolitan Center Business and Industrial Park, off of Trickhambridge Road.
“This development will bring high-quality jobs, attract and retain top talent and position Brandon at the forefront of a growing, innovation-driven industry,” said Brandon Mayor Butch Lee said in the August announcement.

Brandon residents started a petition on Change.org asking Rankin County leaders to guarantee that the data center would not lead to increased energy rates or air or water pollution due to construction.
