Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) onTuesday had taken control of “a Zionist” Hermes 900 drone before it could attackthe country.
In a statement carried by Iranian media, theIRGC said the drone was brought down intact and fully armed using a modern airdefense system and is now under the control of its Aerospace Force fighters, addingthat the advanced unmanned aerial vehicle has been handed over to aerospaceexperts and engineers for inspection and study.
Separately, the Iranian army said it haddestroyed 35 advanced enemy drones since the start of the war.
