Jared Leto looks back on what he called a “life-changing moment” after starring in the award-winning movie Dallas Buyers Club.
The singer-actor delivered a stunning performance after being cast in the character of Rayon, a transgender woman diagnosed with HIV.
The bold transformation and his stunning portrayal earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 86th Academy Awards alongside Barkhad Abdi (Captain Phillips), Bradley Cooper (American Hustle), Michael Fassbender (12 Years a Slave) and Jonah Hill (The Wolf of Wall Street).
Leto further cemented his status as a formidable actor after winning the category.
