BROCKPORT, N.Y. — A driver was injured early Saturday morning after a serious crash on Lake Road South in Brockport.
The Brockport Fire District responded around 4:04 a.m. to a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a car that went off the road, struck the trailer of an 18-wheeler and was split in two.

Fire crews said the driver was out of the vehicle when they arrived. EMTs with the fire district began medical care at the scene before transferring the patient to Monroe Ambulance.
Crews remained on scene assisting the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office with lighting until shortly after 6 a.m. We are working to learn more.
