After nearly a year of speculation, Summer House alum Paige DeSorbo is opening up about her romance with Joe D'Amelio, referring to him as “really fun” and saying that the relationship is “very relaxing."

“Yes, we’re exclusive,” she toldUs Weekly at Actors Rising Presented by The Actor Awards and ELLE. “I’m in my 30s, so it’s not like I’m out every single weekend going out on multiple dates like I would have been in my 20s.” Adding, “I feel like they get a reputation that they’re not quiet,” she said referring to D'Amelio. “But they’re quiet — and I appreciate that.”

DeSorbo reflected on the challenges of dating somone in the public eye. “It was such a balancing act,” she remarked. “I feel like when I was on reality TV — I started when I was 25 — it feels very, like, that was my 20s. Obviously, I’m in charge of my own decisions and stuff [now]. So it’s nice to be able to decide what I share and what I don’t [with] personal stuff.”
She shared in a Feb. 20 episode of her Giggly Squad podcast why she hasn't been open about her dating life post Conover. "And, obviously, there's so many reasons why I never talk about dating a man or, like, being with a man," she said. "Even [on] Valentine's Day, people were like, 'Obviously you're in a man's bedroom because it has no artwork. The bed's unmade. Like what's going on here? Is that a jail cell?' There's so many different reasons why. One, I feel like because I was like had such public relationships and like the court of public opinion is not healthy. But two is because I'm like, 'What the hell does he have to do with my personality?'
