DANSVILLE, N.Y. — A Dansville man is facing several felony charges after being accused of fighting with deputies and attempting to flee custody.
Deputies say Samuel Diaz was at the Livingston County Courthouse for an appearance on Feb. 3. During his time at the courthouse, deputies say he fought with deputies and took off in a car.
During the pursuit, deputies say Diaz hit a sheriff’s car, then was taken into custody.
Diaz was charged with felony escape, assault, and criminal mischief, along with resisting arrest.
