Seeing a lack of Mexican American stories in local history books, they decided it was time to write their own. Since then, the Mexican American History Project Greeley group has interviewed dozens of local residents, conducted extensive research and gathered all of their findings into a manuscript. That book is set to be released this year. “Our History, Our Voice: Mexican American History Project Greeley” explores this grass roots effort to celebrate, elevate and share the contributions of local Latino residents.
