Primus is amping up their back-to-back tour run this year with more shows, louder stages and bigger crowds.
The American rock band, celebrated for its "funk-metal" style, delivered surprising news to fans.
In an Instagram post, the three-member group, fronted by Les Claypool, announced their return to the U.K. and Europe for a round of performances this summer.
According to the post, the run consists of festival appearances and standalone shows in select cities, giving fans multiple ways to catch the band perform their timeless hits live.
The band will end July with a show in Italy and continue through August, hitting major cities in Slovenia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Germany, France, the Netherlands and wrapping up the tour with four shows in the U.K.

“Primus will be heading to the UK & Europe this Summer, making appearances at festivals and performing in select cities along the way. Headline dates will be an evening with. Artist presale for all headline dates will be available on Wednesday, February 25 at 10am local time, ahead of the public on sale this Friday, February 27 at 10am local time,” the caption reads, adding that the tickets and show information are available on their official website, primusville.com.

As mentioned, this tour marks Primus’ return to Europe and the U.K. after several years, with their last performance taking place in 2017 at London’s Roundhouse, which was their first appearance at the iconic venue.
