    Permission to apply for state funding

    City Council voted to allow Mayor Malik Evans to apply for up to $10.4 million in state funding for two different transportation projects. One project aims to convert South Avenue between Woodbury Avenue and East Main Street to two-way traffic and to improve bicycle and walking infrastructure.

    The other aims to upgrade aging parts of the Genesee Riverway Trail to make neighborhoods more connected. The city also plans to add parking for bicycles and scooters and to improve vegetation management.

    Construction project at Rundel Library
