Barbra Streisand's Timeless: Live in Concert film is headed to PBS.
Footage from her unforgettable 1999 New Year's Eve performance is about to be seen like never before, Streisand announced this week, revealing that Timeless: Live in Concert will be shown in high-definition for the first time ever on March 2.

Sharing the news to Instagram on Monday, Feb. 23, the 83-year-old EGOT winner announced, "Timeless: Live in Concert, coming to @PBS March 2nd. Shown in HD for the first time. Don’t miss it!"
She also shared a snippet of footage from the iconic performance, which was filmed at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas on Dec. 31, 1999. It kicked off the beginning of Streisand's Timeless Tour, staged as an original Broadway-style musical with some of the greatest hits of her career.
View this post on InstagramFeaturing an orchestra conducted by Marvin Hamlisch, the performance also included duets with Lauren Frost, who played the younger version of Streisand, on songs like "You'll Never Know," "Papa, Can You Hear Me?" and "A Piece of Sky."
The setlist for the show also included a medley of songs from Streisand's famous Broadway role in Funny Girl, as she mashed up "I'm the Greatest Star," "Second Hand Rose" and "Don't Rain on My Parade."
Streisand also sang "Evergreen (Love Theme from A Star Is Born), plus more fan-favorite tracks like "The Way We Were," "I've Dreamed of You" and "Happy Days Are Here Again."
The concert film first came out as a double-CD live album in 2000, followed by a video DVD version that aired in 2001. Now, fans will be able to relive the magical concert in HD for the first time.
Timeless: Live in Concert airs on PBS Monday, March 2 at 7 p.m. ET.
