CLARKSON, N.Y. — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office responded to a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Lake Road and West Ridge Road in Clarkson.
The roadway was closed for some time. Eastbound traffic on West Ridge Road was diverted as deputies and emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
Deputies say two people were taken to local hospitals with what are believed to be minor injuries.
Investigators determined the crash happened after the third driver failed to stop for a steady red light. That driver was not hurt and has been cited.
The roadway has since reopened, and traffic is back to normal.
