Little House on the Prairie star Melissa Gilbert's husband, Timothy Busfield, pleaded not guilty to four counts of child sex abuse.
On Saturday, Feb. 21, People reported that Busfield, 68, pleaded not guilty to the charges—all third-degree felonies—against him on Feb. 10.

Additionally, the West Wing actor waived his arraignment and court appearances for pre-trial proceedings on Feb. 11. Judge Joseph Montano granted this on Feb. 18.
The news came after the district attorney for New Mexico’s Bernalillo County, Sam Bregman, announced via Facebook that a grand jury had indicted Busfield on the four charges of criminal sexual contact of a child.

On Jan. 9, the Albuquerque Police Department (APD) issued an arrest warrant for Busfield, alleging that he engaged in unlawful sexual conduct with twin actors, 11, after they met on the set of The Cleaning Lady. One of the victims was 7 when the alleged incidents began.
Busfield turned himself in to the police on Jan. 13. That same day, he denied all allegations against him in a video obtained by TMZ.
“They’re all lies, and I did not do anything to those little boys, and I’m gonna fight it," he declared. "I’m gonna fight it with a great team, and I’m gonna be exonerated, I know I am, because this is all so wrong and all lies.”
On Jan. 20, Busfield was granted release on his own recognizance as he awaits trial.
