Kuwait City: An Indian laboratory technician was arrested for forging fake PCR tests in return for 30 Kuwaiti dinars (Dh365) each, local media reported. The 51-year-old technician issued PCR certificates that stated that the COVID-19 test was negative, without even conducting a test. He pocketed 6 Kuwaiti dinars in commission for every test, while 24 Kuwaiti dinars went to the private clinic he worked at. During his interrogation, he confessed that he forged around 60 PCR tests but did not reveal who the tests were bought by.
