The British actress and producer shared a rare photo of herself and her young daughter wearing matching teddy bear jackets at the beach, watching a sunrise on her Instagram on Thursday afternoon. Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, welcomed a baby girl via adoption last summer, but have chosen to keep their daughter's name and identity private.

When journalist Zing Tsjeng asked Brown to tell her about her daughter's personality, she declined, saying that "it’s not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly."

"For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to potentially one day share it herself," Brown explained. "If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that’s something we’d support. But right now, as she’s so little…As her parents, it's our job to protect her from that."

Bongiovi and Brown met in 2021 through a mutual friend and started sparking romance rumors then before going public with their relationship that summer. The two eventually got married in May 2024, when Brown was only 20 years old and he was 21.

"He just lets me be me," Brown told British Vogue. "That’s why I adore him."

Brown gained recognition in 2016 for portraying Eleven in Netflix's hit TV series Stranger Things. After the show ended on its fifth season late last year, she now continues to focus on her personal life and family while living on her farm in Georgia.
