ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Broadway Theatre League welcomed the smash hit musical “Wicked” at the West Herr Auditorium for its opening night on Wednesday. The show is set to run for two weeks.
Fans shared their excitement before the show.
“I like the songs, just, the voices these people have,” said Steve Boily.
“I’m super excited to see Elphaba flying because I don’t remember seeing that when I was a kid, and so I think that’s going to be really special,” said Elizabeth Areno.
“Wicked” will be running through March 1. Free parking and a shuttle service will be available for Thursday’s matinee. The shuttle lot is located at the Rochester Public Market, and the shuttle bus will operate from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
