ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Former Ogden police officer Steven Ploof took a plea deal after threatening a federal agent in Rochester last year.

Court paperwork showed Ploof pleaded guilty to threatening an FBI agent’s family by leaving threatening signs at the agent’s Ogden home in September.
Ploof also pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment after driving at Greece police and attempting to set them on fire on the same day, police said.
Ploof could face up to six years in prison. The plea deal is expected to give him 18 months to two years in prison.
