Miami offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa has been the most-mocked player to the Arizona Cardinals at No. 3 overall ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft, and NFL.com’s Daniel Jeremiah was the latest to suggest him to the franchise.
The former Hurricane has been mocked to the Cardinals 28 times since the Arizona Sports tracker began keeping a running list on Jan. 4. The next three closest to Mauigoa in terms of who NFL pundits believe Arizona should draft are Utah offensive tackle Spencer Fano (15), Ohio State linebacker Arvell Reese (13) and Miami edge rusher Rueben Bain Jr. (10).
Jeremiah stuck with his preference for the Cardinals taking an offensive lineman, as his first mock draft released on Jan. 26 penned Arizona taking Fano.
With the league officially in its offseason, the NFL analyst said, “Mauigoa plugs in at right tackle and upgrades an offensive line in desperate need of help.”

The Miami product was a three-year starter on the right side of the O-line and is listed at 6-foot-6 and 335 pounds. NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein rates Mauigoa at 6.48 on his draft prospect scale, where 8.0 is “the perfect prospect,” as he projects the tackle to become a starter within two years.
In 2025, Kelvin Beachum filled in at right tackle (525 snaps) for an injured Jonah Williams, who has appeared in 15 games in two seasons with the Cardinals. Both Beachum and Williams are unrestricted free agents. The only other option at right tackle currently on the roster, Christian Jones, did not log a snap last season.
Zierlein also notes that Mauigoa could conceivably play guard if he cuts down on “leaning” when blocking.
Mauigoa was Pro Football Focus’ 14th-best overall tackle in college football for the 2025 season, checking in with the seventh-highest pass block grade.
