According to Raye, whose real name is Rachel Agatha Keen, 65 ticket holders planning to attend her show on Sunday, Feb. 15 were denied entry at the Accor Arena in Paris. The issue was the result of what she called a "system error at Ticketmaster, meaning 65 tickets were not fully validated when they were purchased."

Writing in her statement on Tuesday that she is "completely devastated" for the affected fans, Raye called the situation "completely unacceptable and wrong," while insisting that the ticket mishap "was outside of anything I could control."

"I feel saddened and let down," she wrote in the post, confirming that the denied ticket holders were already refunded and given a voucher from Ticketmaster—but Raye wanted to take it a step further.

"I'd like to offer all of these 65 people who didn't get in to the show complimentary tickets to any Raye future show of their choice," the "By Your Side" songstress announced, adding that she would also be giving affected fans a "signed vinyl."

"You will be contacted shortly about this," she wrote. "I know this doesn't even remotely make up for this mess, but it's all I can think of in this moment to soften the blow."

"My deepest apologies to those of you affected," she concluded the message, which was signed, "Love Raye."

Many fans online praised the singer for taking the situation into her own hands and doing her best to make it right for her fans.

"THAT'S the way it should be done," one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter) in praise of Raye, while another user echoed, "This is someone who cares about her fans and is now rectifying an issue that wasn’t her fault. Raye we appreciate you and thank you."

"now THIS is a reaction. we love you raye," another fan applauded.
