A 14-year-old was shot in Chicago’s Loop on Monday night, authorities said.
According to Chicago police, the shooting unfolded in the first block of East Washington Street at approximately 8:31 p.m. Monday.
The teen was standing outside at the location when a suspect opened fire, striking him in the left foot.
Police said the teen was taken to Lurie Children’s Hospital, where he was listed in fair condition.
There were no suspects in custody, and police are investigating.
