PAWTUCKET, R.I. — A young girl was killed and four people were injured in a shooting at an ice rink in Rhode Island.
The shooting happened at the Dennis M. Lynch ice rink during a high school hockey game, according to our affiliate in Pawtucket. The local mayor’s office says the shooter is dead and police aren’t searching for anyone else.
We don’t know the age of the girl killed yet.
The game was between Coventry-Johnston co-op and St. Raphael-Providence Country Day-North Providence-North Smithfield co-op.
