ANTIOCH — A 21-year-old man was stabbed multiple times Sunday night at a motel, authorities said.
The man, who is not an Antioch resident, was in critical condition at a hospital, police said..
The stabbing was reported about 8:37 p.m. Sunday at the Comfort Inn in the 2400 block of Mahogany Way.
Police have not said if the stabbing happened in one of the rooms or in another part of the motel, and have yet to release a motive for the stabbing. But the department said in a news release that investigators believe it was a targeted incident and there is currently no indication of an ongoing threat to the public.
