CLARENDON, N.Y. — Two people are facing charges, and a third suspect is still at large following a string of burglaries at an Orleans County storage facility.
Orleans County Sheriff’s deputies say on Jan. 4, they responded to Brockport-Clarendon Self-Storage on Hall Road in Clarendon for a report of a burglary.
When deputies got there, they say they found multiple units that were broken into. They also say after further investigations, more burglary and criminal mischief complaints were reported by various victims.
As a result, Erin Starkweather and Antonio Suarez were arrested on a total of 23 charges, including burglary, grand larceny, criminal mischief, petit larceny, and conspiracy.
Starkweather and Suarez were both processed at the Orleans County Jail and released on their own recognizance.
Phillip Martinez still remains wanted by Deputies and has an active arrest warrant for the same charges. Deputies ask anyone with information about Martinez’s whereabouts to contact the sheriff’s office at 585-589-5527.
