Former Southern Charm star Olivia Flowers is getting candid about her and her partner, Alex Williams's choice to not go forward with their wedding, which was set for November 2025.
In a February 2026 interview on Page Six's Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, Flowers said she and Williams, who proposed in 2024, made a mutual decision to not walk down the aisle. She explained that they were both "feeling stressed and nervous about things" regarding their "post-wedding" life. In addition, she said her parents noticed that she and Williams seemed not in alignment while they were planning for their wedding.
Flowers also explained that following their engagement, Williams had to be "in another city" for his job. In addition, Flowers realized that she "want[ed] to be spending time more in New York."
She clarified that she and Williams are "still together." In addition, she showed that she's been wearing her engagement ring, even though she and Williams do not currently have any plans to wed.
"We don't have another date. We're not making plans right now. We're just like staying present with our moment. But yeah, I mean this rings on," said Flowers.
The former Bravo personality also said that she and Williams are now "stronger" than ever after they "weathered the storm" of cancelling their wedding.
"It's definitely like a level up in the relationship. Like there's like a whole new space of authenticity and just like talking to each other," said Flowers in the February 2026 interview. "That is how we reached the decision. Is finally being like something's off here [and] acknowledging the disconnect that we were having."

"So, we're deciding between two venues. I'm pretty, pretty sure which one I'm leaning towards. It's in West Lake, where I used to live in Texas. So there's sentimental value there... So I'm excited," said Flowers in the April 2025 interview.
