Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie‘s mom, Nancy Guthrie, remains missing as the search enters its third week — however, police recently confirmed that a glove found 2 miles from the 84-year-old's Tucson home "matches" ones in a video of a potential suspect, and that DNA results are pending.
On Sunday, Feb. 15, new details emerged in an update from the FBI, per CNN.

In a statement from the FBI, it was confirmed that the glove—one of "approximately" 16 that investigators found near Nancy's residence—also contained DNA. Most of the other gloves reportedly belonged to searchers who discarded them while working in the area.
“The one with the DNA profile recovered is different and appears to match the gloves of the subject in the surveillance video,” the FBI said.
Now, the FBI is waiting on the final test results on the glove, a process that usually takes 24 hours.
On Feb. 10, investigators released photos and a video clip from Nancy's doorbell camera footage showing a masked person of interest wearing gloves and a black 25-liter Ozark Trail Hiker Pack. On Feb. 11, a video published by the New York Post showed investigators recovering a black glove as potential evidence in Nancy's case.

In recent days, investigators also conducted a court-authorized search in Rio Rico, Ariz., detaining—and then releasing—a man named Carlos Palazuelos for questioning. TMZ has also reportedly received several emails (that have not been authenticated by investigators) from someone alleging to have information about Nancy’s captor in exchange for Bitcoin. Most recently, on Feb. 13, SWAT raided a house and vehicle in Tucson, detaining a man for questioning but later releasing him, following a tip.
Overnight on Feb. 13 and into Feb 14, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD) executed a search warrant about 2 miles from Nancy’s home, CNN reported. More than a dozen vehicles from SWAT and forensics swarmed the residence, detained a man for questioning, and released him. No arrests were made. Additionally, FBI agents inspected a Range Rover in the parking lot of a restaurant just blocks away from the raided home.
Meanwhile, identifying DNA evidence not belonging to anyone "close" to Nancy was found on her property.
Savannah's mother remains missing, as of writing.
