Matt Weston has become the first British athlete ever to claim two medals in the same Winter Olympic Games after winning the skeleton team event with Tabitha Stoecker.
Only seven previous Team GB competitors have ever won more than one medal across a career, but in the space of 48 hours, Weston has made his own piece of history.
The 28-year-old added mixed team gold to a dominant individual performance he claimed on Friday, having been the first British man ever to win that.
Weston and Stoecker had claimed consecutive world championship silvers in 2024 and 2025, but went one better on Sunday evening.
