The Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum has unveiled its 2026 class of inductees, and the list spans country royalty, Rock Hall icons and some of the most influential session players in modern music.
This year’s class includes Dolly Parton, Keith Urban, Michael McDonald, George Thorogood & The Destroyers, Dann Huff, John Boylan, Leland Sklar and Nicky Hopkins, who will be honored posthumously.
“The Musicians Hall of Fame has inducted over 170 musicians, producers, engineers and industry icons,” said Linda Chambers, Co-Founder and CEO of the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum. “Each new class of inductees reminds us why we do what we do-preserving and celebrating the legacy of the musicians who bring songs to life. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome these legendary artists into the Musicians Hall of Fame.”
The induction ceremony will take place April 28 at the Fisher Center for Performing Arts. Additional details, including presenters and performers, will be announced at a later date.

For Parton, the honor adds to an already landmark year as she approaches her 80th birthday.
The country legend recently announced a new collaborative release of her classic “Light of a Clear Blue Morning,” featuring Lainey Wilson, Miley Cyrus, Queen Latifah and Reba McEntire, with proceeds benefiting pediatric cancer research. The project once again showcased her ability to blend legacy with generosity, a through-line that has defined her decades-long career.
Already a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Parton’s induction into the Musicians Hall of Fame further cements her status not just as a star but as a songwriter and musician whose work has shaped multiple generations.

Michael McDonald Continues a Career Renaissance
McDonald, meanwhile, continues a late-career resurgence that has kept him firmly in the spotlight.
The former Doobie Brothers frontman reunited in the studio with his bandmates last year for the first time in 45 years, bringing his unmistakable voice back to the group that helped define soft rock in the 1970s. Known for classics like “What a Fool Believes” and “Takin’ It to the Streets,” McDonald remains one of the most distinctive vocalists of his era.
His induction recognizes not just his time with The Doobie Brothers, but a broader career that includes collaborations with Steely Dan, Toto, Kenny Loggins and Christopher Cross.
