Jason Aldean Makes Pointed Jab at Zach Bryan For Parodying His Song

Jason Aldeanhas entered the chat regarding Zach Bryan's recent parody of one of his songs.

Bryan, 29, recently made waves when he put his own unserious spin on Aldean's 2010 hit song "Dirt Road Anthem," in an Instagram video earlier this week, switching out the original lyrics to jokingly sing about chili dogs instead.

Fellow country music star Brantley Gilbert later clapped back at Bryan's video, and now Aldean has officially offered his two cents on the situation, delivering a simple, pointed jab toward Byran and his music.

In the comments under Gilbert's response video on Instagram, Aldean chimed in to say that Bryan's "Dirt Road Anthem" parody is the "Best song I’ve heard from that guy. ?"

In Gilbert's video, which showed him actually eating chili dogs while listening to Bryan's parody, he further trolled Bryan by referencing his confrontation with Gavin Adcock at a musical festival in September 2025, where Bryan infamously climbed a fence to challenge Adcock to a fight.

"You can climb all the fences you want, you’re not getting my chili dog," Gilbert captioned his post.

Meanwhile, a number of other country music singers joined in with comments on Gilbert's Instagram post, including Chase Rice who wrote, "Get ur brass knuckles ready" and Tyler Farr who called Gilbert's clap back "amazing."

It's still unclear if Bryan has previous beef with Aldean or Gilbert, or if his initial video was intended as just good fun, but it's worth noting that Bryan recently took aim at the Turning Point USA alternative Super Bowl halftime show, which Gilbert was a part of.

In a since-deleted Instagram Story posted after Sunday's game, Bryan wrote, "I don’t care what side you’re on, a bunch of adults throwing temper tantrums and their own halftime show is embarrassing as hell and the most cringe s—t on the planet," according to Country Chord.

The controversial performance, which was meant to rival Bad Bunny's official NFL Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, also featured performances from Kid Rock, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett.
