BATAVIA, N.Y. — State Police say a man from Elba is dead after a crash in Batavia Thursday.
According to State Police, just before 3 p.m. Thursday, Thomas Luby, 79, was heading east on West Main Street when he crossed the center line, hitting another car. Luby was brought to Erie County Medical Center, where he died as a result of his injuries.
The other driver had no injuries. State Police say this is an active investigation.
