W.A.S.P. is currently preparing for their upcoming 1984 To Headless 2026 North America Tour, which kicks off in El Cajon, California, on September 10 and ends on Halloween night in Anaheim, California. Formed in 1982 in Los Angeles, they rose to fame in the city's heavy metal scene thanks to their debut self-titled album. Some of their most popular songs include "I Wanna Be Somebody," "L.O.V.E Machine," "Wild Child," "Blind in Texas" and "Forever Free," as well as some of their covers, such as "I Don't Need No Doctor" by Ray Charles and The Who's "The Real Me."

The rock group has released 15 studio albums, with their most recent being Golgotha in 2015. In addition, they released a remastered version of their 1992 album, The Crimson Idol, in 2018, titling it Reidolized: The Soundtrack to The Crimson Idol.

Before the announcement of their upcoming North America tour, frontman Blackie Lawless said in a statement that "it's hard to express the genuine excitement I'm feeling in describing the 1984 To Headless U.S. Tour. Playing those songs from those first four albums in a combined package like this is something we've never attempted before."

In addition, English heavy metal brand KK Downing will be joining them as their supporting acts.
