On Wednesday, Feb. 11, TMZ's Harvey Levins detailed the new development during an interview with Fox News.

In an email sent to TMZ—which has not been authenticated by investigators in Nancy's case—somebody alleged "they know who the kidnappers is," Levins explained.
"They have tried reaching Savannah's sister, Annie, and Savannah's brother [Camron], to no avail," he added. "And they said they want 1 Bitcoin sent to a Bitcoin address that we have confirmed is active. It's a real Bitcoin address."
Levins continued, "As they put it, 'Time is more than relevant.' So we have no idea whether this is real or not."

In a separate TMZ article, the outlet noted that it received the note just before 5 a.m. PT on Wednesday.
