A 5-year-old boy who portrayed a younger Bad Bunny during the Super Bowl halftime show hails from Costa Mesa.
Lincoln Fox Ramadan, a child actor and model, appeared during the Puerto Rican superstar’s show, which drew 135 million viewers. One scene captured hearts across the nation: Lincoln, dressed in a striped collared shirt and khaki shorts, watching television footage of Bad Bunny accepting his Grammy award for album of the year, the singer then walking over to the boy and handing him the trophy, affectionately petting his head.

Lincoln’s appearance quickly went viral, with many viewers incorrectly identifying him as Liam Conejo Ramos, a 5-year-old Minnesota boy who was detained by ICE last month.
In an Instagram post after the show, Lincoln’s family expressed gratitude for the opportunity and expressed support for Liam and other immigrants amid the ongoing federal crackdown.
“An emotional, unforgettable day being cast as the young Benito — a symbolic moment where the future hands the past a Grammy,” the family wrote, using the artist’s first name. “A reminder that dreams come true and that it’s never too early to dream big.”
They continued: “We all deserve peace and love in America, a country built by and home to so many hard-working immigrants.”
Orange County residents and school officials took to social media to shower praise on the young actor, who is of Argentine and Egyptian descent, according to his online bio.
“Shout out to #NMUSD student, Lincoln, who had an unforgettable moment at the Super Bowl Halftime Show!” the Newport-Mesa Unified School District, where the boy attends kindergarten, wrote on Facebook. “What an amazing experience on the world’s biggest stage!”
