The only comparable family achievement across all Olympics belongs to Sweden’s Fåglum (Pettersson) brothers, who won eight combined medals in cycling at the 1964 and 1968 Summer Games.
Slovenia dominated the mixed team competition, posting a massive 526.9 points in the first round, which was good to be nearly 10 points ahead of second-place Japan, and followed it with an even stronger 542.3 points in the final round. Norway finished with silver, while Japan earned bronze.
With their gold-medal performance, the Prevc family didn’t just add another chapter to Slovenia’s ski jumping legacy; they rewrote the Olympic record books.
