Celebrating community pride and encouraging “Unity in Purpose,” the 46th annual Orange County Black History Parade marched through downtown Anaheim on Saturday.
More than 15 marching bands were expected to participate along with dancers, community groups, social clubs and more.
Following the Saturday morning parade was the annual Unity Festival that kept the celebration going into the afternoon on the Center Street Promenade with live music on two stages, dozens of food and retail vendors, a health village, a college fair, resource booths, activities for children and more.
The event is organized by the Orange County Heritage Council.
