Erin Murphy is best known for her role as Tabitha in the 1960s sitcomBewitched. But fans could see her in a whole new way if she gets her wish. In a new interview, Murphy, 61, told the Australian outlet New Idea that reality TV roles are on her bucket list.
“I’d love to take part in the Aussie I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here, orDancing with the Stars,” Murphy shared. “I love reality television and the challenge of being out of my comfort zone.”
The former child star, who played Tabitha in more than 100 episodes of Bewitched from 1966 to 1972, also noted that she is “excited” for a potential reboot of the classic comedy series. “If they asked me to appear on the show, absolutely I would!” she said. “I’d love to be included in some way, and I know fans of the original Bewitched would enjoy that fun reference to the past.”

In the past, Murphy made cameos on reality shows such as RuPaul’s Drag U and Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling, per IMDb. But the reality shows she’s eyeing are major shows that her childhood pals, such as Brady Bunch stars Maureen McCormick and Barry Williams, have competed on.
Both McCormick and Williams competed on Dancing With the Stars, and I’m a Celebrity, with Williams, 71, appearing on the most recent season of the jungle-themed reality competition in 2026.
In 2023, Murphy posted an Instagram photo following a night out with Dancing With the Stars celebs McCormick and Kate Flannery. “Dancing with the stars? More like hanging with my friends,” she captioned the photo.
Murphy previously told Fox News that she has many friends from her days as a child star. “It’s a weird, shared experience,” Murphy said of childhood fame. “I mean, there is such a small segment of the population who’ve had those experiences… So, when you meet someone who’s a former kid actor, you immediately are bonded to them because it’s a life experience that most people don’t understand.”
“We kind of have this secret group that we’re all in, so I’m friends with all of them,” she added. “The Bradys and the Waltons and people from Little House on the Prairie.”
In addition to The Brady Bunch stars, several more of Murphy's friends, including Little House on the Prairie star Melissa Gilbert, have competed on Dancing With the Stars.
