PITTSFORD, N.Y. — St. John Fisher University students are taking the floor for the 44th Annual Teddi Dance for Love this weekend.
The 24-hour dance marathon benefits Camp Good Days and Special Times.
The event kicked off Friday at 8 p.m. and runs through 8 p.m. Saturday, raising money for the Teddi Project, which sends children to Orlando, Florida, for a week-long trip to theme parks.

Since it began, the Teddi Dance has raised more than $2 million, with organizers hoping to bring in $100,000 this year alone.
Nearly 300 dancers and committee members—including students, alumni, faculty, and staff—will dance to hundreds of songs throughout the event. Students will also take part in a hair donation reveal, giving hair to Children With Hair Loss, a nonprofit that provides free hair replacements to young people facing medical hair loss.
This year’s Teddi Dance is dedicated to Lucas Lowe, who died from cancer in March 2025 at age 21. Diagnosed with leukemia at seven, Lowe found support through Camp Good Days and later became deeply involved, serving as an honorary coach for the Courage Bowl and taking part in the Florida trip funded by Teddi Dance proceeds.
